Open containers in Traffic Tunnels (three-star guide)

One of the challenges in the weekly ARC Raiders Season 5 Trials is to open containers in Traffic Tunnels. This is a very simple task that must be completed at a specific Point of Interest on a particular map. This Trials challenge is active from July 27 to August 3, 2026, and players must rely on their scavenging skills to locate and loot every available container to earn the best score and rank high on the leaderboard.

Best ways to Open Containers in Traffic Tunnels for ARC Raiders Season 5 Trials

For this Trials challenge, we must head to The Blue Gate map. Although there is a special Locked Gate map condition, the lack of a 2x score multiplier makes that game mode not worth the extra effort. Our primary objective is to head to the Traffic Tunnels as marked on the map below and open crates, breach carriages, check out vehicle compartments, and loot every imaginable place that houses loot.

Here is your recommended loadout to open Containers in Traffic Tunnels:

Putting your gear at risk in this particular Point of Interest is not worth it. Instead, use a free loadout to spawn late and then loot every possible container inside the Traffic Tunnels. Do note that if you intend to take a loadout into this Trials activity, then the Blue Gate Confiscation Room Key is a great item to take in your safe pocket. This unlocks numerous additional lootable containers.

Let us go over the recommended strategy to open containers in Traffic Tunnels:

• Deploy on The Blue Gate map.
• Locate the Traffic Tunnels using the Outer Gates POI.
• Head to the area and avoid the Rocketeers/ Vaporizers patrolling the skies and the Bombardiers waiting outside the giant gates.
• Rappel down and head inside to avoid the Bastion patrolling the right side of the entrance gate.
• This POI is filled with Fireballs and Pops, so beware of any jump scares and keep your ears open for the unique sound of these ARCs running towards you.
• You will receive 100 points for every container opened. This means that 40 container interactions are necessary to reach the 4000 Trials point threshold for three stars.

Do note that interacting with a previously opened container also awards Trials score. Keeping this in mind, hunt for breachable/lootable containers until you reach the 4000 point threshold.
