    Symbiotic Alien is a DPS unit with the Ground placement type in Universal Tower Defense Z. Modeled after Venom from the Marvel franchise, this character is immensely useful in tough modes like Challenge and Raid. The Symbiotic Alien can enter the Frenzied State after making a certain number of Takedowns to get reduced SPA and increased Range. Moreover, this unit’s evolved form can be merged with Human Spider (Responsible) to create Alien Spider.

    How to get Symbiotic Alien in Universal Tower Defense Z

    Symbiotic Alien is a reward for completing the Crime Fighting level of the Extraction mode. You have a 15% chance of obtaining this unit after clearing the level, with the other rewards being Human Spider and Iron Billionaire.

    The Symbiotic Alien has a pity meter, which counts every win. You’re guaranteed to obtain the unit after completing the Crime Fighting Expedition five times.

    The main objective in Crime Fighting Expedition is to earn progress points by making pizza deliveries, investigating activities related to supervillains, and defeating criminals. While delivering pizzas, you’ll have a short time to web swing from one place to another. The delivery location is marked on the map.

    In Crime Fighting, you will also face mini-bosses and the main boss, Symbiotic Alien. It is essential to beat the Symbiotic Alien boss for a chance to obtain Symbiotic Alien. Once the boss enemy is dealt with, return to any of the extraction points to exit the map.

    Symbiotic Alien evolves into Symbiotic Alien (Apex) in Universal Tower Defense Z. Choose the character in the Evolutions menu, and hit the Evolve button after obtaining all the mentioned items:

    • 4x Universal Fragment
    • 6x Frozen Fragment
    • 12x Phantom Fragment
    • 1x Symbiotic Bond
    • 25,000 Gold

    If you lack fragments, purchase them from the Merchant with Gold, the primary game currency earned by completing Acts and Chapters. You can also obtain Universal, Frozen, and Phantom Fragments by completing Challenges and Acts in the Legend Stage.

    Symbiotic Bond is exclusively available from the Crime Fighting Expedition. Make sure to defeat the symbiote boss for a chance to obtain this item.

    Symbiotic Alien (Apex) has two Attack variations, with one dealing Circle AoE and the other dealing Full AoE. The Circle AoE is most preferred because these attacks have a chance to remove every shield of non-boss enemies. The unit can also activate Frenzied State in every boss encounter to gain buffs.

    Below are all passives of Symbiotic Alien (Apex) in Universal Tower Defense Z:

    Symbiotic Hunter

    • Every 15 Takedowns, the Symbiotic Alien (Apex) enters a Frenzied State for the next 30 seconds.
    • While in Frenzied State, the unit has -25% SPA [or -40% on Etherealization 2] and 15% Range [or +30% on Etherealization 2].
    • If there are more than 3 enemies in his range, he gets +30% Damage for 15 seconds.
    • Frenzy Cooldown is set at 60 seconds.
    • When a Boss enters the unit’s range, the Symbiotic Alien (Apex) enters the Frenzied State regardless of cooldown.

    Apex Rotation

    • On Attack, this unit will cycle between two Attack variations.
    • Symbiotic Slam: Circle AOE. It deals +35% Damage to enemies 30% [or 50% on Etherealization 4] and has a chance to remove all Shields of non-boss enemies.
    • Fear of the Abyss: Full AOE. It applies Biomass for 10 seconds. While inflicted with Biomass, enemies take +30% Damage from Dark units.

    Biomass Overflow

    • After a Takedown on a unit with Biomass, the Symbiotic Alien gains +1 Biomass Charge (cap: 20)
    • For every Biomass Stack, he gets +1% Damage [or +2% on Etherealization 6] and +0.5% Range.
    • At Max Biomass Charge, he gains +100% Damage for the next Attack. This also resets the Biomass Charge.

    Assimilation (Active Ability)

    • Active Ability unlocked on the final upgrade.
