How to complete
1) Introductory cutscene
After initiating the quest by interacting with Rogers, you will encounter the High Templar group consisting of Grand Master Torres, Julien du Casse, El Tiburon, and Woodes Rogers, who will assemble and escort you to a place where they are holding a person captive.
This person is suspected of being the Sage, whose blood is essential to gaining access to the Observatory.

2) Escort the Templers
As soon as the cutscene ends, you must head back to the residence of Grand Master Torres alongside the Templar company. Soon, the characters will mention that something feels off about the route. At this point, some Assassins will ambush your party. You must fight them off and ensure that Grand Master Torres is safe.
After advancing through the streets, a second wave of assassins will attack your party. They are perched on the rooftops. Climb the buildings in front of you and take them down before they can harm Grand Master Torres or the Sage.
Advance through the streets again, and you will be met with smoke grenades. A third wave of assassins will attack your group. This time, there will be more targets compared to the previous waves, and you must pick your battles carefully and take them all down. Make sure you do not harm any civilians, as multiple such casualties will result in a desynchronization.
In the next instance, a cutscene will play, where Sage breaks free and flees away. Your next objective is to chase down the target.
3) Chase after the Sage
The target will be marked with a green symbol on your HUD. Sprint through the streets of Havana, and tail the target as he moves through your screen. After a short while, Roberts will end up in front of a locked gate with nowhere to run. He will then face you and challenge you to a duel.
4) Apprehend the Sage
You have to take down Bartholomew Roberts in a one-on-one fist fight. Use your parries when Robert is about to strike, and a blue light flashes on his fists. This will stun the target, enabling you to land multiple hits on him. As soon as his health bar drops to zero, a cutscene will initiate.
In this story sequence, Edward escorts Roberts to the Grand Master, where he hands off the Sage’s custody to the Templars. Rogers takes off for England, and Grand Master Torres rewards you with 1000 Reales for your duties.
