How to complete the Prizes and Plunder quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
Start an expedition with Hornigold
Once you have completed the Now Hiring mission at Nassau, head over to the northern side of the town by the docks to begin the Prizes and Plunder main quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Simply go to the bonfire indicated by the quest marker and wait there until morning.
Following that, a cutscene with Ben Hornigold and Edward Thatch will start, where the latter will join you on an expedition to teach you how to loot and plunder ships.
Mark a schooner and plunder it
After a brief dialogue sequence with Hornigold on the ship, your next objective is to mark a schooner to attack. Simply bring out your spyglass with the F button and look around until you spot a target to attack.
Then steer the Jackdaw toward the schooner and get close to it. Once you are in its vicinity, use cannons to attack the ship and incapacitate it. However, be careful not to go overboard and destroy it completely.
Once the schooner is immobilized, board it with your men and attack its crew to break their morale. As soon as the morale indicator on the left-hand side is empty, the fighting will stop, and another cutscene with Hornigold threatening the sailors will trigger. After plundering the ship for its resources, you can now move on to the final objective of the Prizes and Plunder mission.
Sail to Salt Key Bank
After getting back on the Jackdaw, you must sail it to the Salt Key Bank. Just follow the quest marker to reach the location. Upon arriving, dock your ship at the designated spot.
Upgrade the Jackdaw’s hull
Once you’re at the docks, follow the quest marker to find the Harbourmaster. Interact with him and select the Upgrade Ship option. Then, from the menu, choose the upgrade hull option to make your ship more resilient.
Following that, the Prizes and Plunder main quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be completed.
