Thai dynamo Suriyanlek Por Yenying has a long history of producing dramatic finishes. Heading into The Inner Circle on Friday, fans should not need to look much further than his ferocious win over a feared knockout artist at ONE 170 in January last year.

The battle-tested veteran returns to action against Lebanese firecracker Ramadan Ondash in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown, which serves as the main event of the card in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday.

Suriyanlek arrives with a staggering 85-21 career record and a reputation for marching forward through fire, and that signature style was very apparent in his stylish win inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok in January last year.

That evening, the 29-year-old produced one of the most thrilling comeback finishes of his career against Myanmar’s Thant Zin.

The Myanmarese knockout merchant dictated the opening exchanges. Sharp low kicks chopped away at the Thai’s lead leg throughout the first round, and into the second, and at one point, it looked as though his night was rapidly slipping away from him.

The Tor Sangtiennoi warrior, however, showed no signs of folding. He withstood everything and kept going forward with intent — and the moment he sensed his opening, everything changed.

A perfectly placed left hook crashed flush against Thant Zin’s jaw and sent the Myanmar warrior crashing to the canvas for the first knockdown. Suriyanlek wasted absolutely no time piling on the punishment.

An overhand right delivered the second knockdown moments later, and a clinical straight punch sealed the dramatic comeback for the third and final knockdown of the contest.

Suriyanlek looks to claim another big scalp at The Inner Circle on Friday

Since overcoming the Taw Win Ayeyar Club athlete in early 2025, Suriyanlek Por Yenying has earned another four wins, one coming in highlight-reel fashion against Rambong Sor Therapat.

He returns in fine form in search of another emphatic display inside the Mecca of Muay Thai.

Ondash, the 19-year-old Tiger Muay Thai phenom, should be paying close attention.

The man waiting for him at Lumpinee later this week has every tool needed to flip a contest in a heartbeat.
