Shemaroo Entertainment on Thursday announced the appointment of Ashish Gupta as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
A qualified chartered accountant, Gupta succeeds Amit Haria, who spent 19 years with the company and was also the part of IPO listing in 2014.
As the new CFO, Gupta will head the financial and business affairs of Shemaroo.
Prior to joining Shemaroo, Gupta, who has worked across Asia, served as the CFO at BARC India. With more than 24 years of experience, he has also held senior leadership positions at International SOS, Quatrro, and Kuoni Travels.
According to a statement issued by Shemaroo, “He (Gupta) is widely recognised for his expertise in business partnering, financial strategy, process transformation, profitability enhancement, treasury management, and building high-performing teams.”
