AEW was founded by Tony Khan and a few wrestlers in 2019. The Jacksonville-based company has been thriving and giving WWE a run for its money. Khan purchased Ring of Honor in 2022, and it now operates as All Elite Wrestling’s sister promotion.

ROH recently held the 2026 Supercard of Honor at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland. The event featured thirteen matches and was well-received by fans. In its main event, Athena successfully defended her ROH Women’s World Championship against Maya World, Trish Adora, Yuka Sakazaki, Billie Starkz, and Zayda Steel in a survival of the fittest match.

Shane Taylor Promotions entered Supercard of Honor as the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions and made an open challenge. It was answered by Dalton Castle and The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd). This was a good showdown, and it ended with Castle, Magnum, and Floyd dethroning Shane Taylor, Carlie Bravo, and Capt. Shawn Dean.

Magnum and Floyd made their All Elite Wrestling debut in 2021. They are quite over with fans, and by winning the titles above, they finally captured gold in a Tony Khan-led promotion. Hopefully, the trio’s reign will be lengthy, and they will defend their gold on AEW programs as well.

Shane Taylor Promotions for 259 days. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for them.

AEW star Dax Harwood made a huge revelation about the Outrunners

The Outrunners, Kings of the Black Throne, and the Acclaimed unsuccessfully challenged Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a four-way tag team match at Full Gear 2024.

Interestingly, in a 2025 interview with WrestleZone, FTR’s Dax Harwood said that he and Cash Wheeler were originally going to compete in this match. However, he asked Tony Khan to give their spot to Magnum and Floyd.

“FTR was supposed to be in one of those spots. I went to Tony and said, ‘Hey man, these guys have worked their ass off. They deserve that spot. Take us out and put them in.’ And he did. He agreed with me,” he said.

Only time will tell what the future holds for the Outrunners. Hopefully, they will win the AEW World Tag Team Titles someday.
