Nick Aldis looks to be returning to a physical role in WWE, which could begin at SummerSlam if he’s able to pick up the win over Gunther.

Now that Aldis has taken on a new role, it seems that the SmackDown General Manager spot could be up for grabs. While Adam Pearce has taken on the role for the time being, for the long term, WWE could be looking for a new face, and one former star could be looking to make their return.

Ahead of RAW, Carmella has responded to a fan’s comment about the role, making it clear that she could be interested.

Carmella left the company when her contract expired back in February 2025 and has since welcomed her second child.

The former Women’s Champion has started her own company called Snatch For Her and has been outspoken about women during pregnancy and postpartum.

Carmella has been out of the ring since March 2023 when it was revealed she was expecting her first child with husband Corey Graves, and wasn’t able to return before her contract expired.

Carmella could be looking to return to WWE

Corey Graves remains part of WWE as a member of the commentary team on both RAW and AAA. He continues to travel with the company and split his time between the road and being at home, but it seems that his wife could be looking to return.

Carmella’s update shows that she is prepared to return to the company for the first time after suffering some issues with her foot following the birth of her son. Carmella has spent a long time recovering from what was said to be a traumatic birth, but could now be ready to return to action.

Carmella was the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank winner and someone that many fans got behind throughout her career. Her former boyfriend Big Cass is also set to make his return to WWE following SummerSlam next weekend, so it will be interesting to see if Carmella is able to return to the company and take on the role as SmackDown General Manager.
