With only days left for Path of Exile Allfalme League, it’s time to start picking League Starters. Over the last few updates, the number of options has increased, but some builds always come out on top. To help you select a League Starter, we’ve seven builds that’ll help you zoom through the campaign and complete at least two Voidstones as quickly as possible.
Do note that the Ascendancies are only recommendations. If you feel like something else will be better for the build, go for it. Additionally, not every build will be available from the get-go depending on the Class you choose, but the Socket changes should solve any leveling issue.
Best League Starters in Path of Exile 3.29 update

Here are our top 7 reliable League Starters:
1) Kinetic Rain Deadeye
Kinetic Rain is getting Kinetic Blast treatment with a 200% increase in Arcane Might, up from 150%. It rains down several projectiles in an area that explode after a few seconds. Deadeye provides some great options for Projectile Skills, but feel free to go with any other that you like. Overall, it should do much better in the Allflame League and see more use across the board.
2) Winter Orb Occultist
Winter Orb was already a pick as League Starter, but with the 3.29 update, it’s now much more viable. The Skill now shoots 2-3 projectiles instead of one, which is already a damage increase by itself. However, besides that, it has a higher critical chance and deals even more damage. With Occultist, you can stack Power Charges, gain Energy Shield regen, and free Enemies for better CC. The build, however, does get expensive in the endgame, so that’s something to keep in mind.
3) Kinetic Fusillade Totems Hierophant
Both Kinetic Fusillade and Hierophant see some adjustments to their damage in Path of Exile Allflame League since it was one of the most popular builds. However, it’s still one of the go-to picks if you’re planning to build around Totems. Additionally, the new Crustacean’s Call unique added +2 to the number of summoned Totems and also lets you build around the new Crab Totems.
4) Absolution into Animate Weapon Necromancer
With early-game Rolling Magma nerfed, Absolution looks like a good leveling build to later transition into Animate Weapon Necromancer. It’s the build that helped me complete all Voidstones and more during the Mirage League and is definitely a great pick if you like Minions. As for the Ascendancy, there’s only one that suits this type of build.
5) Voltaxic Burst Reliquarian
The Reliquarian is getting a new set of Unique Ascendancy Passives, one of which includes Fidelita’s Spike that makes sure all your hits can Shock, and Herald of Thunder provides a 100% increase buff effect and reservation efficiency. Pair this with buffed Voltaxic Burst, which now has 10% Crit Chance, 60% Lightning-to-Chaos conversion (instead of 40%), and around a 10% damage increase; it’s looking like a good League Starter for Path of Exile 3.29. Alternatively, go for Elementalist.
6) Reap/Exsanguinate Trickster
One of the most popular Physical DoT builds survives the nerfs, mostly because many players didn’t play it. With the 3.29 update, Reap is getting a Transfigured variant, Reap of Butchery, that swipes a Scythe around you 360 degrees to apply the DoT, unlike the regular variant that only attacks in front. If it doesn’t work out as planned, you can always swap to base Skill, which is still a great pick as League Start.
7) Shockwave Cyclone Slayer (or Gladiator)
Shockwave Cyclone is another survivor of Path of Exile Mirage League and one of the smoothest builds to play in the game. Slayer gives you survivability with Life-Leech, while Gladiator has Bleed procs with explosions. With the Allflame League, you are losing the ability to get a pseudo-7-Link setup by corrupting the Skill with a Coin. However, the build itself is quite tanky and can complete 4-voidstones without that.
An Honorable mention goes to Righteous Fire Chieftain. Still reliable as ever, and will take you to the endgame without the need to worry about budget. However, you may want to swap to something else for completing Voidstones, like Boneshatter Juggernaut or Flicker Strike Berserker.
