Bron Breakker and Oba Femi will collide in one of WWE’s most intriguing battles of the summer. The two powerhouses have been presented as potential future cornerstones of the company, making their September 6 showdown at Sunday Night’s Main Event particularly important.

WWE officially announced the match after Paul Heyman intervened in the growing confrontation between the two stars. Femi has been riding tremendous momentum since defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Meanwhile, Breakker has continued to establish himself as one of the most dangerous young performers on the roster. Their recent contract signing only intensified the rivalry, with The Ruler standing tall after the chaos.

Thus, if Bron Breakker scores the victory, Triple H could immediately use the result to reshape the direction of both stars. The stakes are even higher because this is not simply a battle between two talented wrestlers. WWE has deliberately framed the contest around which man will represent the company’s future.

Femi has the aura of an unstoppable powerhouse. Breakker has the speed, intensity, and pedigree to become a top-tier main-eventer. Thus, a decisive result could influence WWE’s booking plans for months, especially if creative wants to establish a clear hierarchy between its rising stars.

That said, in this article, we look at three things that may happen if Bron Breakker defeats Oba Femi at Sunday Night’s Main Event.

#3. Bron Breakker becomes the next major challenger for a world title

A victory over Oba Femi would give Bron Breakker perhaps the biggest singles win of his WWE career and could place him directly in the world-title picture.

The timing would be particularly interesting because the World Heavyweight Championship scene is already developing through the ongoing No. 1 Contender’s Tournament. Penta and Rey Fenix have advanced to the final, with the winner set to earn an opportunity against Roman Reigns on the September 14 episode of RAW.

Breakker does not need to interfere in that tournament to benefit from defeating Femi. WWE could simply portray him as a star who has earned a future championship opportunity because he defeated one of the company’s most heavily protected prospects.

Also, the victory could lead to Bron Breakker targeting Reigns, should he retain. That would give WWE another explosive matchup built around youthful aggression and athleticism.

#2. Oba Femi becomes even more dangerous

A loss does not have to damage Oba Femi. In fact, WWE could use it to make The Ruler even more dangerous.

Femi has already been established as a major force. He won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament and then defeated Brock Lesnar in Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam, with Lesnar declaring him the future of WWE. That makes Oba’s match with Bron Breakker less about proving whether he belongs at the top of the company and perhaps more about determining how he responds to adversity.

Thus, if Breakker pins him cleanly, Oba Femi could become obsessed with getting revenge. WWE could have him refuse to accept the result, destroy opponents on weekly television, and demand another match.

That would allow the company to extend the rivalry without immediately diminishing either superstar. A rematch could then take place at a larger premium live event, perhaps with higher stakes attached.

More importantly, Oba Femi could emerge from the defeat with a more ruthless edge. He is already intimidating. However, suffering his first major setback against Bron Breakker could push him toward a darker and more aggressive version of The Ruler.

#1. Paul Heyman’s allegiance becomes a major storyline

The most fascinating consequence could involve Paul Heyman. The Oracle has positioned himself as the man capable of controlling the situation between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi. He was connected to Breakker through The Vision. However, his recent interactions with Femi have raised questions about where his true loyalties lie.

Thus, if Breakker wins, Heyman could return to The Vision immediately, congratulating the World Tag Team Champion and claiming that he knew Bron would make him proud. However, the latter could believe he no longer needs The Oracle back, especially if defeating Femi establishes him as one of WWE’s biggest young stars. Alternatively, Paul Heyman could turn his attention toward The Ruler, offering to help him regain his place at the top.

The Oracle knows Breakker better than anyone. Thus, an alliance with Oba Femi would make the Bron and Oba feud more interesting.
