Vince McMahon’s former right-hand man made a rather surprising revelation about the ex-WWE boss and his real-life personality, dispelling major misconceptions that have long persisted.
On the Two Man Power Trip podcast, former WWE co-President and Chief Financial Officer George Barrios made a rare media appearance. He was asked point-blank about Vince McMahon, to whom he had been a right-hand man and trusted confidante for a very long time.

George Barrios admitted on the podcast that he expected Vince McMahon to be this loud, extroverted figure. However, he was surprised to learn that he was more of a quiet, introverted figure. This is a complete bombshell, as this was never mentioned regarding McMahon’s personality.

AJ Styles appreciated Vince McMahon
There was little doubt about the fact that AJ Styles was a Vince McMahon guy. When he arrived on the scene in 2016, he rose to the top in a way few have before him. Within a few months, he was already challenging for the top prize in the industry, and a few months after that, he was the WWE Champion.
Speaking on his Phenomenally Retro podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer said that while he wouldn’t hang out with McMahon, he appreciated him for the opportunities he received.
“So it was neither good or bad working for Vince. He gave me a chance to be AJ Styles in WWE and a two-time World Heavyweight Champion. So what am I to complain about? We were not hanging out after work. I promise you that. He’s not the kind of person that I’d probably hang out with. But he was my boss, and he gave me an opportunity. It’s not hard to see why Styles feels this way. If McMahon didn’t have such a deep level of adoration for his abilities, he wouldn’t have pushed him as hard as he did. In fact, it was rumored that McMahon was so enamored by AJ Styles that he regretted not signing him a decade earlier.
