WWE Head of Creative Triple H made a massive announcement on social media ahead of the upcoming edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. SNME will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 23.

After the event, WWE Superstars will travel to Europe for this year’s European Summer Tour. The biggest show of the tour, Clash in Italy, will take place in Turin on May 31. The only match announced for the PLE thus far is Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Earlier today, Triple H took to Instagram to reveal the official poster for WWE Clash in Italy. The poster features The American Nightmare. In the caption, Hunter pointed out that it would be the first PLE in Italy and noted where the fans could catch the action.

“The first @WWE PLE in Italy ever…#WWEClash in Italy is LIVE from Turin, IT, Sunday, May 31st. Watch on @espn app and @netflix internationally,” he wrote.

Wrestling veteran believes Triple H could be in a position of vulnerability

In a recent video on his YouTube channel, wrestling veteran Vince Russo opined that Triple H attracted a lot of hate by putting himself in front of the talent. The former WWE head writer added that Brock Lesnar going off script to seemingly retire from professional wrestling suggested that he had zero respect for the WWE CCO.

Vince Russo further stated that no professional wrestler would have done what Brock Lesnar did if Vince McMahon was in charge. The 65-year-old noted that Hunter’s position as the WWE Head of Creative was vulnerable, and Lesnar went off script because he was well aware of it.

“Can you imagine one of the talents pulling that on Vince McMahon, bro? That would have never happened. You wouldn’t have even dreamed of doing something like that, bro. You would have been gone so fast. Vince would have blackballed you, man. He would have made sure you never worked anywhere again. But I guess in Brock Lesnar’s case, if it is indeed a shoot, Brock’s simply asking the question, ‘What is HHH going to do?’ And I would also think that Triple H would have to be at a point of vulnerability, him being very vulnerable at that point. And maybe Brock does something like that because he feels it’s the nail in the coffin, man,” Russo said.

Only time will tell whether TKO makes any changes to the WWE leadership going forward.
