There has been a spoiler on WWE’s plans for the opening segment of tonight’s episode of RAW. The promotion is on the road to Clash in Italy on May 31.
According to a new report from Rope Break, a major star is scheduled to open tonight’s edition of the red brand in North Carolina. Jacob Fatu is scheduled to kick off RAW following his attack on Roman Reigns and The Usos last week. Fatu attended an Acknowledgment Ceremony for Reigns and unleashed a brutal attack to close last week’s show.
Thanks for the submission!
Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu at Backlash 2026 to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns won the Men’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year to become the number one contender and captured the title from CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42.
Fatu attacked Reigns after the loss at Backlash and went after him again last week on WWE RAW. The Samoan Werewolf Powerbombed Reigns through the announce table before sending the champion crashing through the barricade at the end of the show.
Jacob Fatu opens up about his relationship with a former WWE star
Jacob Fatu recently discussed his bond with former WWE star Tonga Loa. The veteran used to be in Solo Sikoa’s MFT faction but was released by the company earlier this month.
Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast, the former MLW star revealed that Loa looked out for him. He also revealed the importance of the Tongan Death Grip and why the move meant so much to him.
“Tonga Loa looked out, man. This is why I’m so close with them. It ain’t because they’re Tongan. It ain’t because our dads used to tag. Nah, man, I know these brothers. I know I genuinely love my Tongan brothers. This is why the Tongan Death Grip, it’s not about changing the name. No. I’m getting goosebumps right now because this move is a sacred move. It’s different.” said Fatu. (H/T: Fightful)
Only time will tell what WWE has planned for the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu in the weeks ahead.
