Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has named his pick for Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar, scheduled for the Clash in Italy Premium Live Event.
The Ruler decimated The Beast Incarnate during their singles match at WrestleMania 42. After the bout, Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring, giving the impression that he had retired from in-ring competition. However, after being absent for a month, the 48-year-old made his return last week on RAW. He took out the Nigerian star and set up a rematch for Clash in Italy in the process.
Thanks for the submission!
During a recent appearance on ESPN Unsportsmanlike, Cody Rhodes spoke about the rivalry between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar. He also noted that he was concerned by Lesnar’s return. However, having witnessed Oba’s dominance against Brock at WrestleMania 42, he was certain that the former NXT Champion would topple the veteran again at WWE Clash in Italy.
“But if you saw WrestleMania, I think Oba has got him again,” Rhodes said. [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]

Wrestling veteran makes a massive claim about Brock Lesnar’s relationship with WWE CCO Triple H
If multiple reports are to be believed, Brock Lesnar leaving his gloves and boots in the ring following his loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 was unscripted. It forced WWE to make changes to the following episode of Monday Night RAW.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, wrestling veteran Vince Russo claimed that Brock ‘absolutely hates’ Triple H. The former WWE head writer added that The Beast’s actions suggested that he had no respect for Hunter.
“I hear that Brock Lesnar just absolutely hates Triple H. And I can see that. Triple H has put himself in a position for people to hate him. Remember the Bret Hart-Steve Austin eye roll. He has put himself in a position to be hated. He has put himself in the forefront of everything. He has put himself first in front of his own talent, and a lot of times in wrestling, that is a no-no. I mean, if the Brock Lesnar thing is a shoot and nobody knew about it, and he didn’t smarten up Triple H, that means he has zero respect for Triple H. Zero. None, bro,” Russo said.
It remains to be seen what plans Triple H and the creative team have in store for Lesnar going forward.
