Perez Hilton recently reacted after Diana Jenkins reportedly threatened legal action against people alleging she was connected to Hayden Panettiere’s recent story involving a “very famous” man. In a May 14 article published on his website, Hilton wrote:

“Diana Jenkins is snapping back HARD after rumors started swirling that SHE was the one who was the antagonist of Hayden Panettiere‘s recent confession.”

The blogger further explained that Hayden Panettiere had been discussing stories from her upcoming memoir during recent interviews and podcast appearances. Detailing the controversy surrounding one of the stories, Hilton wrote:

“The bombshell book has already been making waves ahead of it hitting the shelves, with one of the stories Hayden talked about on the Jay Shetty Podcast recently raising concerns. She told the story of an alleged incident where she was placed into the bed of a naked, ‘very famous’ man on a boat by someone she once trusted.”

Perez Hilton also noted that the people on the “internet” quickly began speculating about the identities of the individuals involved in the alleged incident and “went into speculation.”

“And soon after that, people started theorizing the good pal of Hayden’s who betrayed her when she was just a teen was the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star,” Perez Hilton wrote.

However, the podcaster said Diana Jenkins was strongly pushing back against the allegations and warned that legal consequences could follow for those spreading the rumors online. Explaining the seriousness of the response, Hilton stated that anyone “betting on Diana” should be prepared because the reality television personality was allegedly ready to “take them to court.”

The podcaster also shared a statement reportedly provided by Jenkins’ representative to TMZ. Quoting the statement, Hilton wrote:

“Diana has had to deal with false online rumors before, and sadly this is just another example of that. So let me be 100% clear about this: It most certainly is not Diana, and anyone who claims it is her will be sued.”

Hilton further explained that Jenkins’ team claimed similar accusations had surfaced in the “past” and allegedly resulted in lawsuits that ended in her favor.

Hayden Panettiere recently opened up about a traumatic moment from her teenage years. She did this on an episode of On Purpose with Jay Shetty, that cam out on May 11.

During the conversation, host Jay Shetty referenced a chapter from Panettiere’s upcoming memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, in which the actress recounted being placed in a frightening and deeply uncomfortable situation aboard a boat when she was 18 years old. Shetty summarized the story described in the memoir and said:

“You write about a moment in your career where a friend of yours takes you onto a boat…You’re led to a room which has an older man in it and then basically told to perform sexual acts.”

Hayden Panettiere reflected on how, despite believing she was mature and capable of handling herself at the time, she now recognizes how vulnerable she truly was as a teenager. Explaining how her perspective has changed with age, the actress said:

“The fact that I was 18, even though I’d lived such a huge life and I thought I was oh so mature at 18 … scientifically, your frontal lobes don’t develop until we’re what, 25, 26? So even though I felt like I could make healthy decisions, safe decisions, I wasn’t capable of being fully aware of what was going on around me.”

The actress said her “perspective completely shifted” once she realized she was “in danger,” though by that point she felt trapped because she was already “quite literally out to sea.”

Hayden Panettiere described the incident as both shocking and deeply unsettling, explaining that she initially believed she was simply spending time with people she trusted and enjoying a harmless night out.

“There was no hints of anything like that happening…So it took me by surprise,” she recalled.

According to Panettiere, the person who brought her into the situation was someone she deeply trusted and viewed as protective toward her. The actress said she was escorted downstairs into a very small room, where she was allegedly placed into bed next to an undressed older man.

“She physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous,” Panettiere said

She further added that he appeared to behave “like this was just an average day for him.”

The actress explained that she immediately went into survival mode after realizing the seriousness of the situation. Panettiere recalled becoming “ferocious” as she tried to protect herself before fleeing the room and attempting to hide elsewhere on the boat.

She further explained that escaping entirely did not feel possible because they were out at sea, and she believed nobody around her would understand or sympathize with what she was experiencing.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Panettiere reflected on the emotional impact of being betrayed by someone she trusted so deeply, describing it as one of the most painful parts of the experience.

Hayden Panettiere’s upcoming book, This is Me: A Reckoning, is scheduled to be released on May 19.
