    Only one man should dethrone MJF as the AEW World Champion and it’s not Will Ospreay!

    MJF is once again back at the top of AEW as its World Champion. The star regained the title at Double or Nothing this past Sunday.

    MJF went to war with Darby Allin in the main event of Double or Nothing in a Hair vs. Title match. Allin came heartbreakingly close to victory after putting Big Hebrew through a table with a massive Coffin Drop off the stage scaffolding. Blood poured from the back of the champ’s head as he continued fighting through the pain, landing a Scorpion Death Drop and another Coffin Drop for near falls. However, exhaustion finally caught up to him. Friedman countered on the top rope with an Avalanche Tombstone Piledriver before scoring the decisive pinfall with a headlock takeover to regain the World Championship and save his hair.

    This win led to speculations over who will be the man to dethrone MJF next. A strong contender is Will Ospreay. The British wrestling sensation defeated Samoa Joe in the quarter-finals of the Owen Hart Cup and is a strong favorite to win the tournament. He could go on to face MJF at All In in Wembley Stadium. However, another dark horse to dethrone the champ is none other than Kenny Omega. Omega has already lost to Friedman on two occasions. His most recent defeat came at AEW Dynasty, where the star came very close to winning the world championship once again. The best bout machine is looking for a redemption, and a victory over Max for the world title could certainly help the star redeem himself.

    At Double or Nothing, the Salt of the Earth delivered on his promise of becoming a three-time World Champion by 30.

    In the aftermath of the encounter, the star sent a message to his naysayers on social media. He called out everyone who wanted to see him bald at the end of the Hair vs. Title match. He called them “morons” and claimed there was no way Darby was defeating him.

    The star has now become a record-breaking three-time AEW Champion. It will be interesting to see who steps up to him next on Dynamite this week as he starts his title reign.
