Jey Uso came up short to Oba Femi in the King of the Ring final at Night of Champions, but it seems that there is a way that he could push for a rematch.
Oba Femi was locked in the sleeperhold, and while he was trying to get the WWE fans behind him, he was seen tapping.
Thanks for the submission!
Bronson Reed is seemingly watching the show and shared a message to Jey Uso on social media, making it clear that he should be questioning why he wasn’t the winner at that point.
“Me and uce are definitely opps but yeet man might wanna run up with the ref after that one. Tap, tap, tap.” he wrote.
The referee obviously didn’t see that this was him tapping out, but it should be questioned and could be the reason why Oba Femi is yet to choose who he wants to face at SummerSlam.
Femi was able to pick up the win and did pin Jey Uso following Fall from Grace, but it seems that this could now become an angle.
Jey Uso could call out Oba Femi on WWE RAW
If Bronson Reed is calling out Oba Femi, then WWE should be aware that there could be enough to turn this into an angle.
Femi is expected to choose which championship he will challenge for on RAW, and Roman Reigns is expected to be back on RAW as well. While The Ruler could be looking forward to a confrontation with Reigns, he may actually get Jey Uso, who could use some video evidence to prove he deserves a rematch.
There was a belief that Uso would be the one to pick up the win at Night of Champions, but Oba Femi has become a beast on the main roster, and it was clear that he wouldn’t be able to beat him alone.
It could be interesting to see what the road to SummerSlam looks like since there are now around five weeks until the Biggest Party of the Summer and there could be a number of swerves planned for Oba Femi in that time.
