As pat of the intensified field-level surveillance measures, health workers conducted house-to-house survey in 286 households in ward 5 of Ramanattukara municipality, where the Nipah case was reported. Twelve persons with fever were identified during the comprehensive survey completed on Friday. However, none of them exhibited symptoms associated with Nipah infection.
