The New England Patriots fell short against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX in Mike Vrabel’s first season with the team. The Patriots will start the season with a Super Bowl rematch as they are reportedly set to face the Seahawks in Week 1.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Patriots will square up against conference rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in the first game at Gillette Stadium in Week 2. The Jacksonville Jaguars are reported to be the Patriots’ Week 3 opponent.

Vrabel heads into his second season with the Patriots amid allegations of an affair with NFL reporter Dianna Russini, who resigned from The Athletic after Page Six published her controversial pictures with the Patriots coach last month.
The Patriots suffered a 29-13 loss in the Super Bowl in February at Levi’s Stadium. Although the Patriots ended up with the AFC championship, they were defeated by the Steelers 21-14 in their Week 3 clash last season.
