Jeremiyah Love has demonstrated that he is not a regular rookie. The Arizona Cardinals running back has drawn a lot of attention since the NFC West team selected him with the No. 3 pick in April.

During an appearance on Amon-Ra St. Brown’s podcast on Wednesday, Love played a game of guessing the names of former and current NFL players by only seeing their pictures.

The first one was a big miss for Love. He saw Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and called him “old dude Andrew Garfield” before St. Brown said it was Goff.

He also saw pictures of Calvin Johnson, Brandon Aubrey, Arvell Reese and more. At the end, he admitted he didn’t know Goff.

“What’s his name? You said he’s a QB? Was he good? He’s on your team right now?!” he asked St. Brown.

Many fans reacted to Love’s admission, with some calling him dumb for not knowing Goff.

“Guy is dumb as rocks,” one fan said.

“CTE started early,” another fan said.

“I’m always amazed at the fact that most young athletes don’t watch or follow sports at all,” another fan wrote.

Others noted that most young players don’t actually watch games, while somebody praised Love for admitting he didn’t know.

“He doesn’t even like football, he’s just good at it. He’d rather be playing Yugioh,” one fan said.

“I know this happens a lot, I’ve seen it, but it always seems like such a red flag to me. How do you play football at that high of a level but not love the game enough to watch it?” another fan said.

“love when athletes own the awkward instead of scrambling for a safe answer. committing to “i have no idea” hits harder than any polished guess would’ve,” another fan added.

Jeremiyah Love will lead the Cardinals offense in rookie season

After three years at Notre Dame, Jeremiyah Love will take over the Arizona Cardinals. The running back posted 433 carries for 2,882 yards and 36 touchdowns with the Fighting Irish. He is considered the best player in this year’s class, and the Cardinals are excited about his potential.

Arizona could still add a quarterback next season. As of now, they have Gardner Minshew, Jacoby Brissett and rookie Carson Beck on the roster.
