Samantha Busch has shared an emotional anecdote about feeling Kyle Busch‘s presence after his passing. She revealed certain ‘coincidences’ that brought her comfort amidst grief.
Busch passed away on May 21 after his battle with pneumonia progressed into sepsis. Samantha was last seen at NASCAR’s tribute for the two-time Cup champion at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Thanks for the submission!
She broke her silence with an emotional post honouring Busch. The mother of two has now released a deeply personal message on Instagram. Samantha recalled how a patch of rainbow appeared near Busch’s sandals, something she happened to find while grieving for her late husband.
“We’ve lived in this house for over 10 years. I’ve been awake at every hour imaginable, through every season and all kinds of weather, and I have never once seen a rainbow appear here,” she wrote.
She then went over an incident in her church when a bird flew around and looked at her squarely.
“Later, while everyone was praying, I kept hearing a noise and thought someone’s phone was going off. I opened my eyes, and it wasn’t a phone. The bird was right by my feet, hopping along before disappearing around the corner. It feels like God is reminding me that I’m not alone and that Kyle is letting me know he’s okay, that he’s close, and that somehow he’s still walking beside us,” wrote Samantha
Samantha’s story drew an outpouring of support from the NASCAR community. Here are some comments under the post:
“This is no coincidence, these are winks from God ❤️❤️❤️,” Denny Hamlin’s wife Jordan Fish wrote.
“It’s totally God and Kyle ❤️🙏🏼🌈 He will always be with you. Always. 🤍✨ Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Truly beautiful. We all are with you and praying for you and the fam. Sending so much love. ❤️,” WWE star Nikki Bella penne
“🕊️🌈❤️,” Christopher Bell’s wife, Morgan, added.
“🤍🫶🏼🙏🏼,” Marco Andretti’s wife, Billie Jo Powers, wrote.
“❤️🙏🏼,” said JRM crew chief Rodney Childers
“❤️,” Veteran racer Kenny Wallace commented.
Samantha Busch recently made an emotional admission about the promise she made to Kyle Busch during his final hours. The 40-year-old shared that she’ll do everything in her power to help realise Brexton’s dream of racing.
Tony Stewart criticises public reaction to Kyle Busch’s death

Tony Stewart wasn’t a fan of the public reaction to Kyle Busch’s death. He believes fans were quick to judge Busch based on his on-track behaviour.
“So the fact that they all want to learn now, they’re the a**holes for not taking the time to learn him and accept him for who he was back then. You want to wait till the guy dies, and now all of a sudden you care about who he was as a person. That’s the part that pisses me off with everybody,” Stewart said.
Tony Stewart added that he isn’t interested in sharing any personal stories of Kyle Busch.
