    Maxxine Dupri’s real-life husband, Kam Hendrix, was destroyed by a John Cena-approved 29-year-old WWE star on social media. All of this, of course, was in the context of their on-screen rivalry.

    The “John Cena-approved” superstar is none other than Mason Rook, who has been making waves early on in his days in NXT. But what exactly did he say that got such a reaction?

    It all started with a back-and-forth between Maxxine Dupri’s husband, Kam Hendrix, and the 29-year-old highly acclaimed Mason Rook. The latter has been making a big splash in NXT, representing the newest generation of superstars.

    NXT underwent quite a drain of talent this year, both on the men’s and women’s side, which is quite normal considering that the purpose of the system was always to be a feeder to the main roster. Tatum Paxley’s addition to the SmackDown brand was the latest example of this. Because the WWE Performance Center produces so much top-tier talent, it’s often not too hard to replace those who have gone, as it gives the opportunity for others to step up.

    So what happened with Rook and Kam Hendrix? During their back-and-forth, Kam Hendrix posted a photo of a very specific chair, implying that Kam Hendrix was a cu***ld because he has to watch his wife Maxxine Dupri be with another man (Austin Theory) every week on television.

    Naturally, this spurred quite the reaction, as it appeared as though Mason Rook won the psychological war on social media. While Kam Hendrix replied by saying that the chair has a harder match than he does on Tuesday, it didn’t quite have the same effect.

    Ultimately, jabs like these are hard to come back from on social media without getting extremely nasty. Hendrix is likely going to save that for later on. Even his earlier reply to Mason Rook got buried by fans due to it being “AI Slop”.

    It’s going to be interesting to see how things play out. The NXT Men’s division needed an awakening, and some believe Grayson Waller lit that fire when he returned recently.
