A major WWE star broke his silence following his surprise return on this week’s episode of RAW. This week’s edition of the red brand aired live from the O2 Arena in London and featured a title match in the main event.
The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker defended the World Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in the main event of this week’s episode of WWE RAW.
Thanks for the submission!
Logan Paul attempted to interfere in the World Tag Team Championship match and brought brass knuckles to the ringside area. However, Joe Hendry made his surprise return and chased Logan Paul through the crowd.
Seth Rollins then interfered and leveled Austin Theory with the brass knuckles as the referee was distracted. Bron Breakker then chased Seth Rollins through the crowd, and Austin Theory was left alone in the ring.
Montez Ford connected with a massive Frog Splash for the pinfall victory, and The Street Profits are the new World Tag Team Champions. Joe Hendry took to social media to break his silence following his RAW return, and you can check out his message in the post below.
Logan Paul used to be Theory’s tag team partner, but he is currently out of action with a torn triceps suffered last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Joe Hendry reveals a hilarious story about his WWE tryout
Joe Hendry recently told a humorous story about his WWE tryout in the past and how it did not go well.
Speaking on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Hendry shared that everyone was eating cake following his WWE tryout in 2014, and he tried to show off by eating chicken and rice. However, he wound up choking on the rice and spitting it all over the table.
“So he’s telling the story, and I go, ‘I’m going to do that.’ I just end up accidentally inhaling another eight grains of rice. So he’s telling this story, and I’m there, and I’m like, and the guy sitting next to me is like, ‘What are you doing? He’s in the middle of a story.’ I basically spat rice all over the table where everyone’s eating, and he’s telling the story. So from his perspective, he’s telling this story, and I’ve just gone, ‘Oh yeah’ [coughed up rice]. So maybe that was the reason. Who knows?” he added.
Hendry captured the NXT Championship during his time in the promotion. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the 38-year-old moving forward.
