    Major upset in WWE title match; top champion suffers huge disappointment

    A top WWE champion suffered a major setback tonight. They competed in a title match but failed to emerge victorious. Zaria is the superstar in question.

    The latest edition of NXT featured a Women’s Speed Championship match. Wren Sinclair put her gold on the line against Women’s North American Champion Zaria. Given the Australian star’s recent booking, she was the favorite to win the contest and become a double champion.

    Despite being at a size disadvantage, Wren Sinclair took the fight to Zaria. The duo engaged in a back-and-forth, fast-paced match. Sinclair came close to securing the pinfall on many occasions. However, the face-painted star continued to bounce back and display her dominance.

    In the final stages of the match, the Women’s Speed Champion attempted a Crossbody on her opponent. Unfortunately for Sinclair, Zaria caught her and threw her outside the squared circle. The Women’s North American Champion managed to send Sinclair inside the ring. However, the time limit expired.

    In a huge upset, Sinclair managed to retain the Women’s Speed Championship against Zaria on WWE NXT. She retained the gold because the Speed Title usually doesn’t change hands when the time limit expires. Disappointed by the outcome, Zaria launched a post-match attack on Wren Sinclair. The powerhouse delivered a vicious F5 to Sinclair, seemingly issuing a warning to the entire roster.

    Zaria has established herself as a force to be reckoned with since winning her blood feud against WWE RAW Superstar Sol Ruca earlier this year. In June, she bested Tatum Paxley to win the Women’s North American Championship for the first time in her career. She successfully defended the title against Paxley at The Great American Bash 2026.

    Many fans were expecting to see Zaria become a double WWE champion tonight. However, Sinclair managed to leave the show with the gold around her waist. Fans must stay tuned to find out if the powerhouse goes after the Women’s Speed Title again.
