The WWE King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments are well underway, and things are already heating up. Four participants from each tournament have already qualified for the semifinals and are raring to go.
Je’Von Evans faced off against Seth Rollins, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints in his KOTR Fatal Four-Way qualifying match on RAW last week. To everyone’s surprise, The Young OG walked away with the victory after pinning Saints in the match that saw considerable outside interference. He now faces off against Jey Uso in the semifinal. The remaining semifinalists are Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio.
Thanks for the submission!
Hyping himself up before his semifinal matchup against The Yeet Master, Je’Von Evans took to Instagram to send a bold message. He called himself the current, future, and the past, showing the world that he isn’t short of confidence heading into his bout against the former World Heavyweight Champion.
“’They Say I’m The Future. Which Is Wrong. I’m The Current, Future, And I’d Be The Past If It Was Possible💯.’- Je’Von Evans #TheYoungOG #WWERAW #KOTR #SoonToBeKing,” Evans wrote.

At just 22, Je’Von Evans has taken to pro wrestling like a fish takes to water. He was promoted to the main roster at the start of this year, and he hasn’t disappointed. He even qualified for the six-man Elimination Chamber match this year but couldn’t go the distance.
The Young OG has also had a few title shots but has so far been unable to get his hands on gold. If he continues the way he’s started in the main roster, 2026 could well be his year.
Jey Uso Receives Warning From WWE King of the Ring Opponent
On the latest edition of WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso overcame LA Knight, Finn Balor and Royce Keys and will stand in Je’Von Evans’ path to the final, which will be held at Night of Champions on June 27.
After The Yeet Master’s qualifying win, which he celebrated with his brother Jimmy Uso, The Young OG took to his Instagram story to send a bold message to his adversary.
“Bout To Yeet His A** Out The Tournament On My Momma #TheYoungOG #KOTR,” Evans wrote.
Uso and Evans will now face off in the semifinal, and it remains to be seen if The Young OG can back up his words and make it to the final at Night of Champions, where the winner of their bout will face the winner of Femi vs Mysterio.
