    Jason Whitlock drops 2-word reaction as Cam Newton makes major confession about night clubs & women

    Cam Newton is a former perennial Pro Bowler and one-time MVP. These days Newton works as an analyst while hosting the 4th & 1 Podcast.

    On Friday, NFL aggregator Dov Kleiman posted a clip of Newton speaking about his strip club exploits. The 2010 Heisman Trophy winner revealed that “he only went to the strip club to HUMILIATE other men and never for the women.”

    NFL analyst Jason Whitlock quoted Kleiman’s post.

    “Unbelievably sad,” wrote Whitlock.

    Cam Newton did not mince words while appearing on the “Funky Friday” Podcast.

    “I never went to a strip club for women. I always went to strip clubs for guys,” said Newton.

    “I’m a competitor. I wasn’t gonna spend no money if I didn’t see nobody else spending no money.

    “As soon as I see somebody thinking that they’ve got money… ‘OK you spending five? I’mma spend six. If you gonna spend 10, I’mma spend 15.’ We’re gonna have a rain off.

    “So that’s my whole thing, I don’t go to strip clubs for chicks even though I want decoration. I was a competitor and still am a competitor to think. That 15 you making, I’mma spend my 15 and I’mma make it back easy.’ It ain’t nothing.”

    According to Spotrac, Cam Newton made roughly $133.5 million in his 11-year professional football career. He spent most of his career with the Carolina Panthers, with a season spell with the New England Patriots sandwiched in between.

    Newton last featured in the 2021 season, when he appeared in eight games for the Panthers. He transitioned into a broadcasting career ahead of the 2024 season.

    Cam Newton was let go by ESPN

    Cam Newton joined ESPN in the later part of 2024. The former dual threat quarterback promptly became a regular fixture of “First Take” serving as Stephen A. Smith‘s primary debate partner.

    However, Newton was let go in July after a major round of layoffs by the network. Other major figures laid off were Ryan Clark, Karl Ravech, Tom Pelissero, Bart Scott, and David Lloyd. Corporate restructuring and budget cuts were given as likely reasons for the layoffs.

    Newton is now set to spend more time on his “4th & 1 Podcast”. The Auburn Tigers icon started the digital platform and YouTube show, growing it into a significant part of the football discuss.

    Cam Newton’s former team, the Carolina Panthers, are entering their third season under Coach Dave Canales. They’ll look to improve on their wildcard appearance from the 2025 campaign.
