Jacob Fatu’s Samoan Werewolf nickname was fully justified in the main event of WWE RAW after SummerSlam 2026 as he choked his “brother” out during a street fight.
The relationship between Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys has been a rocky one. For those who don’t know, Fatu and Keys formed a close friendship in the former’s post-prison years, and this was a time when no other Anoa’i family member was there for Fatu. As a result, Keys and Fatu considered themselves brothers, but this year, there has been a huge conflict of interest. Especially after Jacob Fatu joined The Bloodline, Keys has questioned his decisions. On the episode of RAW after SummerSlam, Roman Reigns tried to plant the seed into Fatu’s head that he only has one family, and that is The Bloodline. So when Keys tried to talk sense into Fatu later, the message was quite clear – they are not brothers, they are not family. Only The Bloodline is Fatu’s family. This is despite the fact that they crashed in the same house and trained in the same places when they were aspiring wrestlers.

Even before the bell rang, Royce Keys’ expression seemed to suggest that he wasn’t too big on the idea of facing someone he considered his brother. The two men went to war, and while Royce Keys was close to picking up the victory on multiple occasions, the Tongan Death Grip saw Royce Keys pass out, giving Fatu the win. Even after the bell rang, Fatu’s grip wasn’t eased, and despite Adam Pearce and security coming out, Fatu did everything in his power to end his career.
After Fatu brutalized Royce Keys, Roman Reigns came out and stood at the entrance ramp, lifting the ones to the sky in a sign of clear approval of what his cousin just did.
