Denia, introduced in the second phase of the Wuthering Waves 3.3 update, is a Resonator with the Fusion Attribute. She is a sub-DPS who can inflict and deal damage based on the negative status effect called Fusion Burst. Given that she is extremely close to the Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab, you might wonder if she is worth pulling for.
This article will cover the pros and cons of Denia to see if she is worth pulling in Wuthering Waves.
Should you pull for Denia in Wuthering Waves?
Denia in Wuthering Waves can prove to be one of the strongest sub-DPS characters in the game’s meta. Her kit allows her to switch between Fusion Burst and Tune-Shift/ Strain, making her quite viable for multiple teams.
But given that the Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners collab is set to release just after her banner ends, you might find yourself conflicted if you should pull for her or not. Here is a list of her pros and cons before we jump to whether she is worth investing your precious Astrites in:
Pros
- Completes Aemeath’s second team revolving around Fusion Burst.
- Can switch between two modes, Fusion Burst and Tune-Shift/ Strain, allowing her to fit in multiple teams.
- Can crowd control enemies with her ultimate, dealing follow-up instances of damage, and pulling them to one location
- Provides the Tune-based buffs to her teammates if you use her Tune-Shift/ Strain mode.
Cons
- Extremely close to the Cyberpunk collab, and you might want to skip her to go for the characters coming in version 3.4.
- Lacks a free-to-play-friendly weapon alternative.
Denia brings a lot to the table, especially because she can support both Fusion Burst and Tune-based teams. This easily makes her worth pulling in the game. Her Fusion Burst mode completes the second team for Aemeath in WuWa, while her Tune Strain/ Shift mode allows her to slot in a team-based around that mechanic.
While she won’t outright replace Lynae, she can be used in a second team, especially if you have two teams that need a Tune-Shifting/ Strain-based sub-DPS>
But keep in mind that with version 3.4 and the Edgerunners collab looming, you might want to skip her if you are securing funds for the collaboration characters or for Lucilla.
