    India is France’s official partner for VivaTech next week, positioning itself as global leader in AI, digital innovation

    India is set to make a defining presence at Viva Technology (VivaTech) 2026 in Paris as the Official Partner Country, reaffirming its position as a global leader in artificial intelligence, digital innovation and technology-driven development, coinciding with PM Narendra Modi’s trip to France next week.

    Led by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), India’s participation at VivaTech 2026 as the Official AI Partner Country will showcase the country’s leadership in AI, Digital Public Infrastructure and innovation at population scale.

    Through the largest national pavilion at VivaTech 2026, India will bring together government, industry, investors and startups to foster global partnerships, attract investments, promote technology exports and strengthen India-France collaboration in a human-centric, inclusive and sustainable manner, according to persons familiar with VivaTech.

    India’s participation will be presented under the theme “Tech For Humanity,” showcasing the country’s vision of technology that empowers citizens, drives inclusion, solves challenges at scale and creates global impact while remaining rooted in human values.

    Scheduled to be held from 17–20 June at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France, VivaTech is Europe’s largest startup and technology event, bringing together more than 180,000 visitors, 80+ startups, over 400 speakers and participants from more than 170 countries.

    As the Official AI Partner Country at VivaTech 2026, India aims to showcase its innovation ecosystem, attract global investments, promote technology exports and foster international partnerships that drive sustainable growth and shared prosperity, according to persons quoted above.The India Pavilion will bring together distinguished dignitaries, senior government leaders, policymakers, investors, industry leaders, startup founders and technology innovators from India and across the world. India’s participation is expected to feature the presence of leading voices from government, science, research and industry, including Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.

    The India Pavilion will also showcase India’s vibrant innovation ecosystem through the participation of leading unicorns, high-growth startups and technology enterprises representing sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace, DefenceTech, SpaceTech, HealthTech, DeepTech, SaaS, ClimateTech, Mobility, Robotics and Cybersecurity, highlighting India’s growing leadership in next-generation technologies and innovation.

    Participation from the DPIIT, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Ministry of Education will further demonstrate India’s whole-of-government approach to innovation, digital transformation and emerging technologies.

    India’s participation at VivaTech 2026 aligns closely with the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 and is expected to further deepen strategic cooperation between the two countries across innovation, entrepreneurship, research and advanced technologies.

    A defining symbol of this vision is the India Pavilion logo, featuring a Tree of Life integrated with a digital circuit design. The logo reflects the convergence of India’s civilisational wisdom, cultural diversity and technological ambition, embodying the nation’s commitment to building the future of 1.4 billion people and the planet, according to the person quoted above.
