    “I am not naked” – WWE star posts intriguing photo with Chelsea Green

    A WWE star recently posted a picture with Chelsea Green, with a rather questionable caption.

    Chelsea Green is considered to be one of the most entertaining names on the roster right now. Although she is yet to win a World title, she has had 2 WWE Women’s United States Championship runs as well as a Women’s Tag Team championship run. Her husband, Matt Cardona, also works in WWE right now.

    Green and Cardona got married in 2021, having started dating in 2017. Recently Cardona shared a picture of them together, in which he was shirtless. Just a few hours later, he clarified that he was not naked in the picture, likely intending it as a joke.

    “I am not naked,” Matt Cardona wrote in the caption.

    Matt Cardona’s passion is a huge reason behind his popularity, according to a former WWE star

    Before coming back to WWE, Matt Cardona made a name for himself in the independent scene, becoming one of the most popular names not signed to the promotion.

    According to a former star of the Stamford-based promotion, a major reason behind Cardona’s success was his passion for the pro wrestling business. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, W. Morrissey, who is currenty an AEW star, stated that Cardona’s passion was something that fans really appreciated:

    “I think something that Cardona has that can’t be taught is passion. It’s the one thing in wrestling. You could teach people to do moves, you could teach people how to lift weights, you could teach people how to do an entrance, you can’t teach somebody passion and I think the fans really appreciate that passion. You could see that in everything that Cardona does and you know, even in his backstory, he has been a huge fan (of wrestling) his whole life,” said Morrissey.

    Cardona recently came face to face with Sami Zayn on SmackDown backstage, which led to a match being scheduled for the same show. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to pick up the win against Zayn.
