There is a secret Kalien outfit in Dragonsword Awakening that you can obtain for free from a treasure chest. This hidden costume, called Vestment of the Great Spirit, can totally upgrade her look once you equip it, and completely changes her color scheme to predominantly white, purple, and hot pink.

How to get secret Kalien outfit in DragonSword Awakening
As mentioned above, the Vestment of the Great Spirit outfit for Kalien in Dragonsword Awakening is locked within a chest underwater. However, it is located at such a depth that reaching it normally is not possible due to stamina constraints. Therefore, you will have to prepare some consumables before you begin your search.
Prepare stamina food
Here are the two food recipes that are essential to your quest for the free costume:
- Egg Renew: Eggs x3 (Cooking method: Slicing)
- Assorted Rice Bowls: Meat x1, Fish x1, Rice x1 (Cooking method: Slicing)
The first item you need to prepare is the Egg Renew, which can instantly restore 25% stamina upon consumption. This is essential to restore your stamina once the bar depletes.
The other recipe is the Assorted Rice Bowl, which reduces stamina consumption by 30% and enables you to perform stamina-consuming movements for much longer.
Where to find the free Kalien outfit?
Once you have the food, you can begin your quest for Kalien’s secret outfit in Dragonsword Awakening. Simply head over to the Endless Summoning Ground dungeon, northeast of Firefly Forest. From here, go east toward the small island with a boat on the coast.
Now you need to use your familiar to go underwater. Simply go to the location marked on the image above, just below the ‘of’ of Trench of Secrets. However, before you begin, consume one Assorted Rice Bowl.
Afterward, keep diving to the location slowly without dashing to avoid wasting stamina. You’ll then soon see a hole in the floor. Go through it toward the bottom.
When required, consume Egg Renew to restore stamina and another Assorted Rice Bowl to maintain its effect.
As you approach the ocean floor, you will spot a treasure chest in the center of the ruins. Just get close to it and unlock it to receive Kalien’s secret outfit. Now you can equip it to alter the look of the character, as long as you have her.
