Originally unveiled in Destiny 2: Forsaken, Wish-Ender, the Exotic Bow now has a Catalyst to unlock. While it’s a little tricky to unlock if you don’t know the method, it’s one of the best anti-barrier weapons in the game, and thanks to its new Catalyst perk, it could wind up being even more popular in the future.

How to unlock Wish-Ender Catalyst in Destiny 2
Wish-Ender, alongside several other Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2 now has a Catalyst that can be unlocked for it. It’s an exciting thing to see, especially for such a useful weapon. However, the official unlock for the Catalyst is a little on the confusing side. The in-game data states that it drops from Raids and Dungeons, but it’s not altogether clear on if there’s a specific dungeon or raid that you need to complete.
Some have speculated that you should focus on the dungeon where Wish-Ender is unlocked (Shattered Throne), and others suggest it doesn’t really matter, as long as you’re running dungeons and raids. Right now, it’s speculation to suggest it could drop anywhere, but once we have a more definitive source, we’ll update this accordingly.
Similar to other Catalyst unlocks, such as Last Word and Conditional Finality, you need to eliminate 500 targets with Wish-Ender equipped to unlock the Catalyst. When you’ve done this, all that’s left is to head to your Weapon Mod screen, and apply the Catalyst. But what does it do?
What perks does the Wish-Ender Catalyst confer in Destiny 2?
Once you’ve unlocked the Wish-Ender Catalyst itself, and spent enough time to kill 500 targets with it, you’ll receive an ability called One for All, which is going to make killing so much more efficient, provided you can meet the requirements:
- One for All: Hitting three separate targets increases damage for a moderate duration.
Pinging three different targets will give you a damage buff, and who doesn’t want that? You just have to be a sure, good shot with a bow. Personally, this one’s not for me, because I’m lousy as a bow player, but I can see this being really fun to use going forward. There’s no telling if it will be a meta-changer or not, but if nothing else, getting extra damage for being a sniper is a nice feeling.
