A popular former WWE Superstar has just called out Chris Jericho via a scathing promo just moments ago. They then gave the veteran a new nickname, one that they claimed was fitting for him.
Tommaso Ciampa has suddenly begun a feud with The Nueve, and even blindsided him after his match two weeks ago. The Psycho Killer has apparently harbored negativity towards Jericho for some time now and has now gone after him. Last week, he even claimed that he had 1,004 reasons to hate the multi-time world champion.
Earlier tonight on AEW Collision, Tommaso Ciampa was in action against BEEF. His opponent had no chance to retaliate as this match came to a quick end. Ciampa sent a message to Chris Jericho by making his opponent submit to his version of the Walls of Jericho.
Post-match, he grabbed BEEF once more and locked him in the submission hold once more on the ringside floor. The former WWE Superstar called Tony Schiavone and demanded that he say that he was better than Jericho. Only then would he let go of the hold. Schiavone was forced to say this on the microphone, despite some reservations.
This was a shallow moment, but he claimed that this had bearing as the AEW commentator was “100 years old”.
Interestingly, Chris Jericho has not been seen since Tommaso Ciampa attacked him. Fans should stay tuned to this feud, as Jericho may retaliate soon. The two could have a war of words before their eventual match with one another. The former AEW World Champion has just dealt with The Demand, and he’ll have to find a way to take down Ciampa, who is arguably hungrier and more unhinged.
This could be a feud that could steal the show, given how both stars are popular among the fans.
