Evander Kane‘s fiancée, Mara Teigen, recently offered him a beautiful tribute on the occasion of Father’s Day.

In the heartfelt post, Mara called Kane a patient, protective, and loyal partner, and celebrated him as an amazing, hands-on dad to their four children.

The photos gave fans a nice look at their family life away from the hockey rink, showing the side of Kane that balances the grind of an NHL season with being a present and loving father.

“Dependable, loving, devoted, selfless, resilient, patient, nurturing, protective, loyal, unconditional…..I could go on and on….Happy Father’s Day @evanderkane. We love you so much,” wrote Mara.

Mara Teigen posted a sweet series of photos on Instagram recently, showing Evander Kane enjoying some quality time with their kids. The pictures captured cute family moments, including all of them out on the golf course together.

Kane and Mara have been together for years. They split briefly back in 2021 but got back together, and finally engaged in 2024. The couple shares three kids — sons Iverson and Hendrix, and daughter Penelope.

Kane also has a daughter named Kensington from his previous marriage to ex-wife Anna Kane.

Evander Kane shares his thoughts on the possibility of potentially playing for the Maple Leafs

Evander Kane shared his thoughts on the possibility of potentially playing for the Maple Leafs one day. During a conversation on streamer N3ON’s Kick channel last month, Kane was asked if the Maple Leafs are the most hated team in the NHL.

“In Canada, yeah,” Kane said. “Everybody hates the Leafs. Yeah, the Leafs are a great organization. They’re a storied franchise.”

Kane was dealt to the Canucks last year due to their tight salary cap situation. The deal helped the Oilers free up $5 million in cap space. The 34-year-old veteran has been in the NHL for more than a decade after being drafted fourth overall by the now-defunct Atlanta Thrashers in 2009.

He joined the Canucks after playing for three seasons with the Edmonton Oilers. Kane has amassed 648 points through 339 goals and 309 assists in 1,001 career games. In his first campaign with the Canucks, he had 31 points (13 goals and 18 assists) in 71 games.
