Emmanuel Acho and Jemele Hill are under fire due to the Josh Jacobs controversy. The Green Bay Packers running back was arrested on Tuesday and booked into Brown County Jail on five different charges.
He faces charges of battery (domestic abuse, criminal damage to property), domestic abuse, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation) and intimidation of a victim.
Thanks for the submission!
Meanwhile, Hill and Acho have yet to react to the news. On Tuesday night, X account @pro__trading called out both commentators for staying silent over the Josh Jacobs situation.

“We need help conducting a welfare check on @jemelehill and @EmmanuelAcho. They’ve gone silent ever since the Josh Jacobs story broke and people are very concerned about them. It’s not like them to go silent. Let’s hope they’re doing OK,” the account tweeted.

The criticism stems from the fact that both Jemele Hill and Emmanuel Acho were extra harsh when Jaxson Dart introduced President Donald Trump during a New York rally over the weekend.
New York Giants teammate Abdul Carter took issue with it, which sparked controversy on social media.

Jemele Hill, Emmanuel Acho went after Jaxson Dart over the weekend
As soon as Dart introduced Trump during the rally, many people criticized his decision. Jemele Hill supported Abdul Carter’s reaction, saying that as a black muslim, he had every right to feel offended by his teammate endorsing Trump.
“So Jaxson Dart gets to publicly express his political beliefs, but Abdul Carter doesn’t? If this is about locker room sanctity and leadership, is it a good idea for the face of the franchise to attend a political rally for a president that is considered to be hugely divisive?” Hill asked.
Emmanuel Acho also supported Carter, saying that the pass rusher was allowed to criticize his teammate.
“He’s allowed to do that, he’s a citizen. If Jaxson Dart is allowed to support Donald Trump, then his teammate is allowed to have his grievances with him doing that,” Acho stated, per The Mirror.
A couple of days later, they are nowhere to be found when it comes to Josh Jacobs. The veteran running back could receive a punishment from the NFL that could keep him sidelined for multiple weeks.
