Mumbai: Pune-based Emcure Pharmaceuticals on Thursday reported 23% year-on-year increase in first quarter revenue to ₹2,580.40 crore supported by momentum across geographies. Ebitda grew 25.8% to ₹508 crore, with margin improving to 19.7%, up 50 basis points year-on-year, reflecting productivity gains and operating leverage, the company said in a press release. Net profit for the period grew 36.2% to ₹292.50 crore.”We have begun FY27, the second year of our five-year plan-on a strong footing. FY26 was about putting the building blocks in place across teams, portfolio, integration and operating discipline. FY27 is about delivery, and Q1 is an encouraging early signal,” said Satish Mehta, MD and CEO Emcure Pharmaceuticals. The company announced appointment of Samit Mehta as chief operating officer of Emcure. In July, Emcure completed acquisition of 12.05% minority stake in Gennova Biopharmaceuticals, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.
