Following his “Friday Night Showdown” win against Tyler1 at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas on June 26, 2026, veteran Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren has decided to host his own Street Fighter tournament, dubbed “Sh*t Fighters,” featuring some of his fellow streamers and friends. The event will be streamed live on his Twitch channel on July 1, 2026, at 1 PM PT.

So far, the competition’s player pool includes the streamer himself and five others, namely:

    1. EmilyWang
    2. Stanz
    3. SuperFT
    4. EskayOW
    5. Slime

JULY 8 1 PM PT WE FIND OUT HOW GOOD I AM AT STREET FIGHTER ft. @supertf @slime_machine @emilyywng @EskayOW @NathanStanz REMAINING COMPETITORS TBD

Ludwig, who has nearly four million followers on Twitch, was questioned before his matchup against Tyler1, with many doubting his ability to win. Ultimately, he defeated Tyler, 10-3, using a surprise Marisa against his Guile pick in Street Fighter 6. In a post-match interview, Ahgren addressed his doubters, asking them to “eat **** and die.”

Now, perhaps to further emphasize his skill, the streamer organized an event featuring a mix of characters to show ‘how good he is at Street Fighter.’ Amongst the competitors is Emily Wang, a challenger Team Fight Tactics player for Citadel Gaming.

The roster also features Stanz and Slime, frequent Ludwig collaborators. Street Fighter enthusiast and fellow Twitch streamer Eskay will also be competing for the win.

Ludwig almost predicted his win against Tyler1 perfectly

I have put in the work I predict a 10-4 win

Before facing Tyler1 at EVO 2026, Ahgren took to X and shared his predictions for the match, claiming he’d take it home 10-4, while quoting a poster for the Friday Night Showdown:

“I have put in the work. I predict a 10-4 win.”

The streamer almost got it right, doing better than he anticipated. After the match, he made sure to say that he was close enough:

    “10-3, I’ll take it.”

Ahgren did receive some backlash following the event, mainly because he suggested that Street Fighter does not garner significant viewership on Twitch during his post-match interview:

“I like Street Fighter but I also like viewers, it just doesn’t work like that. I’m sorry.”

Nevertheless, he stood his ground and claimed that the drama was blown out of proportion:

“I am actively at EVO meeting FGC fans and we are all having a good time in real life with each other. This is a made up twitter drama from a sloptuber.”

In other news, Tyler1 left fans unhappy after calling World of Warcraft a “child’s game” that requires no skill.
