One of the biggest MMA rivalries is between former UFC champion Tito Ortiz and Dana White. The UFC president was Ortiz’s manager at one time before becoming the head of the biggest MMA organization.

That is when things started to fall apart between the pair, and they have had a go at each other over the years.

In a recent episode of Tomi Lahren is Fearless, Ortiz made some stark revelations regarding his former boss.

Ortiz claimed that he was not invited to the White House event later in June (h/t Fox News):

“I wish I was invited to the White House card, and I’m not.”

The Freedom 250 event is invite-only, with some celebrities and streamers ufc-white-house-tickets” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer” data-is-sponsored=”false”>confirming they received tickets.

Ortiz also made another big revelation that he has to pay for UFC tickets, despite being a former UFC light heavyweight champion:

“After the 16 years I gave to them from the very beginning, when they first bought the company, to almost the end, where they sold the company. I don’t get tickets. I gotta pay for my own tickets when I do want to go.”

White is ruthless when it comes to making big decisions. He has banned fighters from events after scraps outside of the octagon, like Dillon Danis, and Ortiz added that the UFC CEO can make life extremely difficult if he wants to:

“If you’re on Dana’s good side, you don’t have to pay for anything. I get it. He said if you want to be a good friend, I’m a good friend. He goes, but if you want to be an enemy, I’m good at that also.”

    He added:

“I’m first one to actually tell you he’s 100% correct. Don’t get on his bad side. But it’s childish. I mean, it’s like, to me, it’s just it’s petty. It’s really petty. I’ve done so much for that company.”

When Dana White almost fought Tito Ortiz

The heated rivalry between Tito Ortiz and Dana White almost came to blows in 2007. The former UFC star and White were scheduled to box, but the fight couldn’t take place.

Ortiz failed to show up for the weigh-ins, and in a 2018 interview with TMZ, White claimed he would have beaten his former client:

“I trained for it, I brought in guys. I spent serious time, really training for this fight, and I was absolutely going to do it… He blinked. Yeah, I would’ve won. I absolutely would’ve won that boxing match.”

White has a background in boxing, and potentially, could have caused Ortiz problems had they met in a boxing ring years ago.
