Becky Lynch appears to be scared of 26-year-old star as Intercontinental Title match is made official for Saturday Night’s Main Event

Becky Lynch is all set to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event this coming weekend, and her opponent, a 26-year-old star, seems to have scared her.

For some context, there was a backstage segment this week, where the 26-year-old Sol Ruca was being interviewed. She admitted that although she hasn’t won a match yet (losing to Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky), she was still in high spirits and looking to make a big impact on Monday Night RAW. She was then confronted by the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, who decided to talk trash to her and told her to go away. Sol agreed to go away, and then, Lynch was heard saying that the newer generation is soft and that back in her day, she needed to fight for everything. What she didn’t realize was where Sol was going, and that was to the ring.

In the ring, Sol Ruca called Becky Lynch to come to the ring. If you recall, last time they met, the Champion ate a Sol Snatcher. While that didn’t happen this time around, Sol Ruca still challenged Becky to a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, vowing to take her Intercontinental Championship.

Becky appeared visibly scared at the entire ordeal, and it’s going to be interesting to see how it all plays out this Saturday. As we mentioned, Ruca is still technically 0-2 on the main roster and risks going 0-3.

This could lead to a rather interesting story where Ruca has to work hard for her win, but it should be noted that so far, she has only gone up against a very high level of talent. If you recall, last December at SNME, she faced the living legend Bayley and picked up the win. So it’s just a matter of when she gets that win, not if.
