RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, boosts rupee with new measures
The monetary policy committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) unanimously decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, while announcing multiple measures to boost the rupee. The rupee immediately climbed 20 paise.It also said that the risks of higher inflation have amplified.
