Apple’s foldable iPhone could be just around the corner
Apple’s long-awaited foldable iPhone may be on track for a fall release, according to hidden files that researcher @M1Astra found in the iOS 27 developer beta. This could mean that when Apple unveils its newest hardware in September, we might finally see its take on the foldable. Even though Apple has no foldable phones yet, the iOS 27 code includes references to “foldState,” “mechanicalAngleDegrees,” “angleDegrees,” and “MGGetLogicalDeviceDisplayCount.” This suggests that the software can interpret if the phone is folded out, to what degree it’s been opened, and how many displays the device is using. The implication is that a possible…

JoSAA 75% eligibility rule: When did it start; was it ever exempted? | Education News
When CBSE Class 12 results came out this year, many students who had cleared JEE Main or JEE Advanced found themselves in a bind. They worried that they were falling short of the 75% criterion, and that could block a seat at an IIT, NIT, or IIIT even with a good rank in hand. But the eligibility conditions will remain in place. Final marksheets, including revisions from re-evaluation or improvement exams, are required to be…

A widely used supplement marketed for joint pain relief may be linked to faster progression of Alzheimer’s disease, according to new research from the University of Florida. The study found that people with mild cognitive impairment who reported taking glucosamine were more likely to progress to dementia than those who did not use the supplement. Researchers also uncovered evidence suggesting that glucosamine may interact with biological processes in the brain that are already disrupted in Alzheimer’s disease. The findings, published June 9 in Nature Metabolism, are based on a large analysis of patient health records combined with advanced imaging studies…
