Diablo 4’s Mother’s Blessing event is back in 2026, and that means it’s time to farm as much exp as possible! An event that rewards players with bonus gold and exp, it often shows up when we’re close to the end of a season, or around a holiday, to reward players who want to hop in and slaughter the forces of evil. Pondering a build and not sure if it’s going to be any good? This is a great time to test it!
Thankfully, it’s also pretty easy to get the most out of Mother’s Blessing in Diablo 4. While it’s only available for a brief period of time, it will be back, and will be the same fantastic gold and exp buff. Here’s everything you need to know.
What is Mother’s Blessing in Diablo 4 and how long does it last?
Mother’s Blessing is an event in Diablo 4 that began on August 11, 2026, and will be available until August 18, 2026. As long as the event is available, any character, no matter whether they’re Eternal or Seasonal, Hardcore or otherwise, will receive 35% XP from all monster kills, and 50% extra gold.
The most important thing to be aware of is that this buff stacks with all other exp buffs, so the higher Torment difficulty that you’re on, the better this is going to be for you. There are plenty of ways to farm, but we feel like the best bet’s going to be in Helltides.
Best way to farm exp for Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing event (2026)
When we were discussing Season 14 of Diablo 4, we told people to avoid taking part in the Surging Ruptures, because frankly, it didn’t feel worth it, but while Mother’s Blessing is available, that’s changed. All those extra monsters that spawn during a Surging Rupture in a Helltide are just fodder for us to farm as much bonus xp as we can.

It’s even better if your War Plan features Helltides, so you get even more rewards out of taking part. It’s even better if you can find multiple Surging Ruptures next to each other, because that’s a titanic swarm of enemies all trying to fight you at once.
I also recommend farming in a group if at all possible. This is another exp bonus, and also means you’ve got more players hitting enemies, which means, of course, faster exp! Do this on the highest possible difficulty you can for maximum benefits.
I also recommend the Hellwyrm War Plan upgrade for Helltides (Writhe and Rot), which makes Hellwyrms drop exp orbs when defeated. Then, build your threat in the Helltide to at least 50%, and check the Helltides website for the current spots where Hellwyrms can pop up.
Show up at one of those locations, kill enemies, and kill the Hellwyrm and its minions! That’s the best way to farm exp during Mother’s Blessing in Diablo 4, without a doubt. It’s tons of exp, potentially great loot, and between these and the Surging Ruptures, you’ll be grinding paragon levels before you know it.
