    WWE and AEW’s competition is fierce. The Stamford-based company recently held SummerSlam 2026 over two nights, and it delivered. Meanwhile, the Tony Khan-led company is currently preparing to host All In: London. The upcoming pay-per-view will happen this month at Wembley Stadium.

    One of AEW’s most talented wrestlers is Andrade El Ídolo. The former WWE star officially rejoined the Jacksonville-based company in January. He recently won the AEW National Championship by dethroning Mark Davis. He is one of Tony Khan’s most trusted names and is destined to win the AEW World Title.

    All Elite Wrestling has a strong working relationship with CMLL. Interestingly, Andrade was once a massive CMLL star. Furthermore, he is going to return to the Mexican promotion to lock horns with Volador Jr. for CMLL’s 93rd Anniversario on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Arena Mexico.

    Darby Allin believes that former WWE United States Champion Andrade is one of the best wrestlers in the world at the moment

    Darby Allin had an extraordinary match with Andrade at AEW Dynasty 2026. Jason Hall of iHeartMedia interviewed the Daredevil before this showdown, and he called the former WWE star one of the best wrestlers in the world at the moment.

    “I feel like Andrade is the best version he’s ever been right now, minus being with Don Callis. It’s incredible, man. I accept anyone that comes into AEW, I’m not concerned with losing my spot like ‘Oh man, if this guy comes in, then I’m going to lose my spot so let’s just guard everyone from coming in.’ No, I welcome everybody as long as they’re going to treat this place with the respect it deserves and doesn’t bring an ego into this.
