Though Big Walk is a fully multiplayer game, one speedrunner on YouTube named Chocler managed to complete it solo under 10 minutes, in 8:41 to be precise. The speedrunning community usually finds bizarre ways to finish video games as quickly as possible, whether it is with or without the use of glitches. It is worth mentioning that this particular run was possible using a jaw-dropping but difficult glitch.
Here is how a speedrunner completed Big Walk solo under 10 minutes.
Big Walk solo speedrun with glitches done under 10 minutes
The speedrun begins with the Chocler creating a brand new 2-player world in the game. As soon as he enters the tutorial area, he grabs a light bulb and starts using the glitch to get out of the area. In his first try, Chocler managed to jump out of the tutorial area.
The glitch is that the character can jump mid-air by repeatedly spamming jump, drop, and grab buttons with the light bulb. This allows the character to move upward and basically fly in any direction.

After getting out of the starting area, he started using the glitch to fly high in the air and pointed his character to the end of the map, where the black globe is present. Since he was flying so high, he was easily able to cross the green wall and enter the endgame area.

Once he reached the black globe, he did not stop using the glitch and reached the very end of the island that triggered the end of the game and credits. The entire journey took 8 minutes and 41 seconds to complete.
It is worth mentioning that the speedrunner did not reach the true ending of the game, which gets unlocked after the first ending.

How did the speedrunner complete Big Walk

In the description of the speedrun, Chocler explained how he used the glitch that allowed him to pull this off. He first advised players to use custom keybinds that can be set within the game itself. Here is the list of keybinds that need to be changed:
- Jump – Mouse Scroll Wheel
- Drop – F
- Grab – G
Next, he explained that the glitch is very difficult to pull off and explain. The method is to hold the Shift and W keys to move, jump with the light bulb while pressing F, and then immediately press G with the same finger. The F and G buttons need to be pushed extremely quickly. Between these buttons, players need to scroll up to jump as well.
This will make the character drop and grab the ball in quick succession, which the speedrunner emphasized is important to trigger the glitch.
