Stuart Fails to Save the Universe episode 3 takes Stuart, Denise, Bert, and Barry Kripke into a universe where magic is real and science is outlawed. The episode concludes with Stuart unknowingly restoring Bernadette’s powers by giving her his blood, only to discover that Bernadette is actually a demon who transforms into a gigantic magical creature. Her return triggers a confrontation with Wil Wheaton, who attempts to stop the threat before it grows further.

Meanwhile, Bert embraces his newly discovered magical abilities and plays a key role in protecting the group during the battle. The ending resolves the immediate conflict while introducing new questions about the magical universe and the team’s continuing multiversal journey.

After Stuart and Kripke seek out a repairman for their broken universe-hopping device, Bernadette plays a pivotal role in the episode 3 finale of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. They come upon a different Bernadette who insists on using a pure person’s blood to revive her magical abilities.

Stuart consents to donate his blood to her in the belief that she can aid the group in escaping. Bernadette becomes a gigantic magical beast after regaining her abilities and admitting she is a demon.

Her prior powers had been revoked for reasons that are now clear, thanks to the revelation. Stuart adds a new danger to the group’s predicament instead of resolving the first one. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe has a trend where his efforts to assist usually end up making things worse, and this twist is no exception.

The episode ends with Bernadette regaining her powers, but it doesn’t tell us how or why the magical council imprisoned her in the first place. Even after the credits roll, those mysteries aren’t solved.

    Did Bert defeat Wil Wheaton?

After discovering he has magical abilities in the parallel dimension, Bert becomes an important character in the third episode’s climax of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. At the beginning of the episode, he almost gets away with being a scientist, but he fools everyone into thinking he’s a strong wizard when he mistakenly calls down rain.

Bert starts to play around with various spells as he gains more experience with his talents. Stuart unwittingly unleashes a gigantic demon while restoring Bernadette’s skills, making his powers important. After that, Wil Wheaton shows up to neutralize the danger and goes after Stuart because he helped Bernadette.

In order to stop Wil Wheaton from murdering Stuart, Bert steps in and fights him using his magical talents. The party is able to survive the confrontation and keep searching for a path home thanks to his activities.

Bert shows that he can cast spells, but the episode doesn’t tell us how strong his talents are or if they will stay with him when he leaves the magical realm. As the novel progresses, those questions are left unresolved.

Why can’t Stuart and the group leave the magical universe?

Episode 3 of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe finds the group failing to fix their broken universe-travel apparatus, despite Stuart’s survival of another perilous reality. This means they will have to keep looking for a way out of the magical universe if they want to get home.

A number of plot points are also left hanging at the conclusion. After regaining her abilities, Bernadette manages to survive, but what she intends to do now that she’s a gigantic demon is a mystery. After learning about his magical skills, Bert becomes the group’s most trusted ally in this dimension.

However, the episode doesn’t go into detail about his powers. The presence of Wil Wheaton also implies that influential people are still keeping an eye on the magical realm and making sure everyone plays by the rules.

In the meanwhile, Denise’s internal struggles with leaving her old life behind are complicating the group’s overall objective. In his ongoing practice of attempting to resolve one difficulty by putting his trust in Bernadette, Stuart once again inadvertently causes a new problem.

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe episode 3 centers on the group’s quest to find a way return to their home reality, since the episode ends without fixing their escape device.

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe episode 3 is now streaming on HBO Max, with new episodes releasing weekly.
