WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night One is now in the history books. Triple H & Co. had curated a solid card for the show, and it didn’t disappoint.
Night One of The Biggest Party of the Summer was headlined by a Hell in a Cell Match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. The Ruler finally ended his rivalry with The Beast by securing a career-defining win. In the co-main event, CM Punk retained his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes after Randy Orton’s surprise return.
Thanks for the submission!
Nick Aldis impressed fans worldwide with his performance despite losing to Gunther. Meanwhile, Nikki Bella backstabbed Paige after their team’s loss to Fatal Influence. LA Knight managed to take down The Bloodline after pinning Jey Uso in a six-man tag team match.
WWE arguably exceeded fans’ expectations with SummerSlam 2026 Night One. The show set the tone for Night Two and captured viewers’ attention. Overall, there were no loose ends in the program, and it was a step in the right direction for the Triple H-led creative team.
SummerSlam 2026 Night Two has an equally stacked card. WWE’s job is only half done after the success of Night One. The company must aim to produce another memorable show on Sunday to truly hit the ball out of the park. In this article, we will discuss how WWE must book SummerSlam 2026 Night Two after a great Night One.
#3. Roman Reigns Should Secure a Clean Win Over Seth Rollins
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will write the final chapter of their storied rivalry with their upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam 2026 Night Two. It will likely mark the last time the duo square off in a WWE ring. Over the years, Seth Rollins has consistently outclassed The Tribal Chief by hook or by crook.
SummerSlam 2026 Night Two will be Reigns’ final chance to settle the score with The Visionary. Besides the world title, the bout will also be a battle of supremacy. Reigns must defeat Rollins clean at The Biggest Party of the Summer. The OTC needs to prove that he is on the same level as The Visionary.
Since adopting The Tribal Chief moniker, Reigns has used The Bloodline‘s help to win many big matches. However, SummerSlam 2026 Night Two should be different. Rollins and Reigns should deliver a classic wrestling bout fueled by their hatred for each other.
WWE must not book The Bloodline to interfere in the contest. A clean victory for the OTC will be the definitive conclusion of the long-running program between the former Shield teammates.
#2. Chelsea Green Must Win the Interim WWE Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, and Lash Legend will compete in a Five-Way Ladder Match for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2026 Night Two. The bout was booked after Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was medically not cleared to compete due to a knee injury.
Flair and Cargill are among the favorites to win the title at SummerSlam 2026. However, WWE must aim to surprise fans by crowning an underdog as the champion in Minneapolis. Given her remarkable character work and dedication to the craft, Chelsea Green is the right candidate to win the Interim Women’s Championship.
Green has consistently proved that she is among the most entertaining wrestlers on the roster. She delivers compelling segments on TV every week and is a great ambassador for the sports entertainment juggernaut. WWE must use the Ladder Match to create a new megastar in the form of Green.
Ripley will likely become the Undisputed WWE Women’s Champion when she returns to in-ring action. Recent reports have indicated that Mami will not be on the sidelines for long. Hence, the Interim WWE Women’s Champion’s reign could be short.
The Hot Mess could benefit from having a brief yet refreshing reign as SmackDown’s top champion. She arguably needs the win more than any other star in the contest.
Flair and Cargill are embroiled in a feud, and their program doesn’t need a championship. Meanwhile, Stratton already has her hands full as the Women’s United States Champion. As for Legend, she is relatively new to the main roster and might not be ready for a world title run.
Green has all the tools to be a top superstar in WWE. She should steal the win in the Ladder Match to shock fans worldwide. It will be a memorable moment if an underdog like The Hot Mess reigns supreme in Minneapolis.
#1. SummerSlam 2026 Night Two Should Be Chad Gable’s Crowning Moment
Intercontinental Champion Penta is set to defend his gold against the formidable Chad Gable at SummerSlam 2026 Night Two. Gable earned the title shot after winning a number-one contender’s match.
Cero Miedo won the title from Dominik Mysterio on the Road to WrestleMania 42. He has been a solid champion thus far, defending the title against several major superstars. However, it is now time for Penta to put over Gable.
Despite being one of WWE’s most dependable stars, the former Alpha Academy leader has yet to win a singles championship on the main roster. He has consistently impressed fans with his performances inside the ring. Earlier this year, he delivered a remarkable feud against Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande Americano) in AAA.
Gable deserves a title win on a big stage following his recent success. The former WWE Tag Team Champion must secure a clean win over Penta to capture the Intercontinental Title. Gable has immense potential as a babyface on TV. A title win at SummerSlam 2026 could elevate his career to new heights.
