TCPL, which makes and sells Tata Tea and salt, Eight O’Clock Coffee, Soulfull cereals and Ching’s Secret noodles, among other products, reported a 29% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹427 crore for the June quarter, with revenue up 12% year-on-year to ₹5,349 crore on broad-based growth across its domestic business, premiumisation and acquisitions.

Worldpanel by Numerator (formerly Kantar) said in its updated FMCG Pulse report that volume growth for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies is expected to be in the range of 4% to 4.5% in calendar year 2026 if fuel prices stabilise at $80-85 per barrel and the monsoon remains stable. The report also noted that it expects companies to take selective pricing actions through the year.
