WWE Superstar AJ Lee revealed who would want to wrestle in her last match. The beloved star also disclosed her reason for it.

The Geek Goddess has been absent from the squared circle for over three months. Her last in-ring appearance was at WrestleMania 42. She lost the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch on Night One of The Showcase of the Immortal.

Amid her absence from WWE programming, AJ Lee showed up at the San Diego Comic-Con. A fan asked the panel of superstars, including her, who they would want to wrestle in their last match. The 39-year-old stated that she would like Bayley to be her last opponent because she was in love with her.

You can check out the video below:

CM Punk, Danhausen, Rey Mysterio, Lash Legend and Mr Iguana were also part of the panel. The Second City Saint joked about wrestling The Role Model in his last match because his wife loved Bayley. Danhausen, Lash Legend, and Rey Mysterio played along and stated that they would also like to have Bayley as her last opponent.

Mr Iguana noted that he would like to wrestle Rey Mysterio in his last match. Danhausen wasn’t thrilled with the AAA star’s response and hilariously called him out for ruining the joke.

AJ Lee made an intriguing revelation about her current WWE contract

AJ Lee spoke about mental health during an interview on iHeart Women’s Sports. She pointed out that times have changed since her previous run with the company, and now she could speak openly about mental health.

AJ Lee further noted that while she could not even talk about her mental health issues back in the day, there was a clause in her current WWE contract specifically about it.

“When the first thing I wanted to make sure was going to work was, is my mental health protected? Do I feel safe here? Are you guys aware of what that means, to need mental health time off or sort of just like, is that something that is a priority for that to be a priority? The conversation was really cool in a way that, like, I couldn’t even reveal my diagnosis 10 years ago, but now it’s like, you know, a part of my contract. So like that is a really cool, beautiful thing,” Lee said.

It will be interesting to see when AJ Lee makes her return to WWE programming.
