Cody Rhodes has broken his silence after a blockbuster announcement that involved CM Punk and this came after SmackDown. This sure promises to be an epic few weeks.
The American Nightmare and The Second City Saint came face to face on SmackDown two days ago where the former challenged the latter to a title fight at SummerSlam, which will take place in August. General manager Nick Aldis quickly announced that the match was official and the two stars shook hands to cap off what was an amazing show.

One day after SmackDown, Cody Rhodes took to Twitter and posed a question to his adoring fans and asked a very intriguing question. He wrote:
“What’s a good song for this moment? Took a lot to make it happen. 3 weeks away! @usbankstadium”
Rhodes is known for being very cinematic in the buildup to his fights. So, it will be interesting to see which song he comes up with and what suggestions he is taking.

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk brought the whole wrestling world to a standstill as the two of them came face to face on SmackDown. It was immediately after the confrontation that their match at SummerSlam was made official.
A lot of fans were eagerly waiting for the match between the American Nightmare and the Second City Saint for a long time. So when their match for SummerSlam was finally made official, TKO, which owns WWE, also reacted in the same way that the fans would.
Commenting on a video between Cody and Punk, TKO’s instagram account commented with a shocked emoji. It is very unusual to see the owners comment on a match announcement, but it just goes to show how much fervor this rivalry has.
