Jey Uso faced Oba Femi in the final of the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament at Night of Champions. The YEET Master put up a good fight, but he was no match for The Ruler’s dominance. Femi picked up the victory with a Fall From Grace Powerbomb to secure the coveted crown and a world title shot of his choosing at SummerSlam.

That said, this leaves a question mark on Jey’s future; more specifically, his future in The Bloodline. The Usos reunited with Roman Reigns immediately after WrestleMania 42, and the faction has only grown stronger since with the addition of Jacob Fatu.

However, Jey’s days in the group might be numbered following Night of Champions. Here are three possible signs that Roman Reigns will kick Jey Uso out of The Bloodline.

#3. Jey Uso failed at Night of Champions

Roman Reigns made it clear that he wanted Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring Tournament and bring the Undisputed WWE Championship to The Bloodline. That plan fell apart at Night of Champions. Jey not only failed to win the tournament but also missed out on earning a world title opportunity at SummerSlam. For someone like Roman, who expects every member of The Bloodline to deliver, that failure could have serious consequences.

The OTC previously spoke about there being “two heads of the table” and wanted Jey to become the other leader by winning the Undisputed WWE Title. Now, that vision may be over. The YEET Master has struggled to regain the momentum he lost after dropping the World Heavyweight Championship last year. Roman could decide that he no longer has a place in The Bloodline and make an example out of him by kicking him out of the faction.

#2. Roman Reigns may no longer need Jey Uso

Jacob Fatu has quickly become one of Roman Reigns’ most trusted allies. When The Samoan Werewolf joined The Bloodline after Clash in Italy, there were questions about whether Roman would be able to keep him under control. However, Jacob has shown complete loyalty to The OTC and has followed every order since joining the faction.

That could change Roman’s thinking. With Jacob proving to be a reliable enforcer, Reigns may no longer feel that he needs Jey in the group as much as he once did. At the same time, Jey has just failed to win the King of the Ring Tournament despite Roman placing his trust in him.

As Jacob’s role continues to grow, Jey’s could begin to shrink. Roman may decide to put his faith in Jacob going forward, making Jey the odd man out in The Bloodline.

#1. The old Tribal Chief is still in there

When Roman Reigns brought The Bloodline back together after WrestleMania 42, he promised that things would be different. He said everyone would be treated as equals instead of following the old Tribal Chief hierarchy.

However, recent events suggest that may not be the case. A few weeks ago on RAW, Roman ordered Jacob Fatu to attack Eric Andre, showing signs of his previous power-hungry tyrant persona. It was a reminder that the old Tribal Chief may still be there. If that’s the case, Jey Uso could have a problem.

The old Roman Reigns had little patience for failure. If someone failed to do their job, there were consequences. After Jey came up short in the King of the Ring final, Roman could decide that he no longer deserves a place in The Bloodline. It would also show that, despite his promises, Roman has returned to leading the faction the same way he always did.
